Well, mine needs some dyna mat and wood flooring, and even with new door seals it’s still noisy.

A screw fell out of the door card that delivers a nice 15 psi stream of cold air on to my left knee -

While we’re talking about left knees - it kinda aches from the clutch pedal in traffic jams.

The block heater went out this week, so I get to smoke out the truck stop with its EPA hated motor, while a bunch of elves hammer inside the block till it warms up. The upside to this is it creates a bunch of triplet style grooves that would make Lars Ulrich proud.

It drinks fuel at the rate of $1/mile - apart from today when I was getting 7 mpg - but, I was downhill , empty, with a 50 mph tailwind. Not even kidding.

There’s always something to fix, which is awesome because I really enjoy spending half my home time on the truck.

Most of the time, I wish it was a nice white Cascadia with tight door seals, a warranty, and 9 mpg.

But then, I turn all the chicken lights on, grab the hammer lane, and figure it’s not such a bad old girl.

Well 1st off .. a 389 is not old.. hell even a 379 is considered relatively late model too me..
@blairandgretchen Pretty well summed it all up.. let me add the fact that I carry a complete electrical kit including muliti meters test lights switches and roughly 200' of 12 ga wire.. and a full Schematics PDFs on my ph.. now would you like for me to continue on about being 6'1" and what it's like to weasel my way between the seats to get to the bunk ? .. na I'll leave that for another day

    It’s a 12.7 S60, BW 171702 turbo with polished manifold and a 550/2050 tuned ECM.

I still want to swap an N-14 into it though. Miss my old T2000.

exhausted379 and Pete 389 Thank this.
