As I sit here, waking up, getting ready to make coffee and start my day. I am feeling a breeze. I look up at the a/c controls. With both the front and rear fans in the off position, my a/c blue light is on, the recirc light is lit, and there is air blowing out of the dash...but the vent knob is pointing at the floor position(and the opti-idle has interior comfort in the off mode)...gawd I hate Junkliners.

My Freightliner sometimes has an issue with the ‘dampers’ that direct the air to the right place. The blower will be on and no air will be coming out. If I turn off the battery switch for a minute the computer resets and it works again. Just turning the truck off takes longer to reset….

And of course, hooked up to my load and....it had a low tire. And it took 20 min for the auto inflate system to fill it up...I took my bottle of soap spray around it twice and couldn't find a leak(one tire kicked soft and jiggled like jello) and the white tire light was on. So the person who brought this in had to have seen it if their head was out of their ###. So to that person, I have a message for you. I hope you have 3 blowouts between now and the next time you deliver...in the middle of nowhere with no cell service!!!

    YOU ARE A

:tool::jerk::knob: (I couldn't find one with a middle finger salute)

I was told by our shop guys that something inside those autoinflate systems leaks internally when the system isnt running after the trailer has been dropped. Of course he couldve just not wanted to look for the tire leak I told him about

Not yet, but I do miss my WyMoore Mack, and it's APU.

I would buy that possibility if all 8 were low, but it was just the one tire and the only thing I didn't check was the valve stem and it's seals. I have had a couple trailers lately that had the valve stem seals dry rotted enough to leak. I wouldn't be so pissey with the driver except, the load came down from Anderson, and was dropped Friday. Either they drop/hooked to it and just drove off with a low tire, or they were pulling it in and live loading it, but if they had it for a while, then they should have seen the low air light at some point. If you're dropping it at the shop, write the #### thing up. The trailer I dropped was missing one of the chains that tie the door open...1st thing I did before unhooking from it was go in the shop and write it up.
