    What’s that thing he mentioned?

    Micro Managing?

Must be something new. I barely talk with anyone here at FCC let alone get managed by anyone… LOL

I'm just hesitant because when the economy slows, the current level of miles won't be there and I'm not sure the current CPM would provide an adequate take home pay to meet my needs. More and more financial guru's are predicting a recession by late 3q or early 4q this year because of this record inflation and ultra high gas prices sucking up the extra cash people have to buy above and beyond the necessities...which tells me, this years Christmas isn't gonna be Merry.

FCC has been around a long time though, and almost all our freight is customers we have accounts with, not crap broker loads, so even if it slows I think we'll be fine. People still gotta feed their dogs, and we haul a crap load of dog food lol

What's the cpm for company drivers? They got manual transmissions?

It varies based on experience. I am in the mid 50s I think. Not counting a bonus that EASY to attain. (6 cpm more right there) I am in a 10 speed manual KW right now that I have put right at 300k miles on so far. My 2 year anniversary with the company isnt for another couple weeks. Why do you prefer a manual over an auto? (Just a question)

You get your choice of manual or auto, recruiter will ask you which you prefer before orientation. I'm a manual guy myself, spent over three years in a auto, and never did like the #### thing. I prefer to shift my own gears thank you. Too much crap in this world is automated lol

I refuse to pay the extortion at Ontario TA/Petro, so I get to sit in the heat for a 34 and of course my APU is jacked up….
