The cameras we had at Moore recorded and transmitted any time the ignition was on. It would flag any incident for the safety department like a hard brake or hard corner, basically anything that would exceed a certain G-force change(you would see a bright green "!" on the camera when an event was triggered). Even some of these ski jump bridge joints would make it think there was a collision and flag that part of the upload, but everything went into safety's database. When the brakes were set, audio recording was turned off due to privacy issues, but as long as the ignition was on, it would record video (in case of a parking lot incident). I never had a problem with any of it because I had nothing to hide, and when I saw the "!" on the camera lit up, I used it for my audio soapbox and voiced any opinion of management's decisions, especially after the Wylie takeover. And that's how I will do things here as well, that is if I am still here.

They must think our trucks get 10mpg. After filling up, my next fuel stop is 825 miles away. This is with a load thats 42k and going through the mountains.

Bumper, O.Henry and dwells40 Thank this.

Mine has been stretched lately too. All these back to back to back heavy loads over I-64 in eastern WV and the warmer weather needing a/c at night has my average MPG down in the mid 6's. They did adapt this trip though. Most of the time when I am leaving Stuarts Draft my 1st fuel stop is Hurricane WV for 70 gal, then fill in Pontoon Beach. The last time it was the Love's in Covington VA for 75 gal, then fill in Haubstadt. This time it was 60 gal in Hurricane, and fill in Haubstadt.

Speaking of weather and of Haubstadt. I spent the night in Haubstadt last night. Yesterday, on the way across from Louisville, I hit this latest storm front that is moving across the country. I honestly haven't seen rain that hard since the last hurricane I drove thru. Went to bed, I needed a/c, woke up and it was 40. Mother nature is off her meds again.

I deliver and pu in Edwardsville. My wife says I need to get off this cycle, it's gonna screw up my blood sugar. Every time you deliver at the Hershey's warehouse in Edwardsville, they give you a free candy bar...and I have been getting a lot of candy lately.

I am picking up at a packaging manufacturer going over south of Carlisle. It can deliver anytime Friday or Saturday. If I get it there by tomorrow, it will have been worth the postponement of my hometime. That would put me over 3000 for the week.

And I am not sure what is going on with payroll. For most of the time I have been here, my Chime card got it's weekly allowance deposited on Tuesday night around 22:00. After my Feb. hometime, that deposit moved to Wednesday morning. Yesterday it was almost 16:00 before it hit my Chime account.

I was in Louisville last night and actually got out of my truck and took shelter in the factory because of two tornadoes on the ground in my area. Fun times for a guy who grow up in California and only had to worry about the ground shaking once in awhile....

I wouldn't ask, I'd just go. Remember the old saying sometimes it's better to ask forgiveness than permission.
