A little down the drain on occasion may not be bad..... Unless you have dat ol cast Iron plumbing on the out flow.

The center owners tore down the diner building in the complex. The guy that managed the complex wondered in to my place take a break before he called for a hazmat cleanup. The soda machine in the diner was dumping into a drain with cast iron plumbing. The acids from dumping sodas and coffee had etched through the waste pipe. Demo guys walked off the job when the saw how bad it was and realized the dirt was contaminated with water from the drains.

 

My radiator is filled with an antifreeze oil sludge mixture. Garage did a half ### flush job after replacing oil cooler.

The complete new system is setting in my garage in the boxes, taking up a lot of space while I wait for my new engine to be completed. We are only almost 3 months behind schedule.

 

Yikes!!!

I worked sewer cleanup for a very short period of time when I was 21. The stuff I saw I’ll never forget.
