The ice cream place i used to go to in Henderson had storage buildings on two levels. Someone drove off of the upper level one time and made a heck of a mess down below. Cant recall the name of the place. Too long ago i guess.

Wonder if the reason the other driver paid with a personal check was because he didn't want the company to know? Or was his plan to bounce the check and rush over to Wilmer to dump the truck and quickly apply to another job and hope they verify his crete employment before they update it?

I don’t know if that story was true but I’ve been overweight at an Oklahoma before. I was required to pay the ticket before leaving the scale.

I got an overweight ticket in FL when I worked for Moore. I knew it was gonna come out of my pocket one way or another (they had the same policy as Creaffer about overweight tickets). I called the safety department and asked which would be better, for me to pay it online or turn in the ticket and then they pay it and take it out of my check. They said it was my choice, but if I paid it online, to send the origional ticket and a copy of the receipt to them to keep on file in case the state screws up and not record it properly, so that's what I did

The Marietta, OK scale Wrote us like 5 tickets for having “Smokey point Dist.” On the door instead of “Smokey point distributing”. They are really keeping the roads safe, Petty dicks.

Well that’s a #### good question, I never got caught. I believe their issue was that the name on the door didn’t match exactly what’s on our operating authority. Like your US DOT number better have the “us” before it. If not, ticket city!

once they “caught” one of our trucks, they started nailing everyone that came through. I35 is a popular route for the trucks that got lettered that way and we got multiple tickets in a week. We didn’t even have a chance to get the issue corrected in a reasonable amount of time.
