    I got a piece of paper he gave me with the violation. It says driver only on the inspection part. As far as the eld app I had no idea you can do that. I’m not so tech savvy

    So I get points then but the company doesn’t? Also the cops left at around 7pm. I believe the cop told me I’m oot for ten hours but I’m not sure.

    Ok...
    It sounds like you did get a level 3 CVSA inspection. Level 3 is checking paperwork.
    If you did, your company did get CSA points, and the violations are on your PSP for 3 years.
    As for the exact point value, I don't know as honestly I don't care as it doesn't effect me. As for your job, the bad news is you have to turn it the inspection report and the company has 15 days to sign and send it back. It's up to the company on what, if any, disciplinary action they will take.
