    @xlsdraw Leonard's have a drop lot or something in Florida? I'm near daytona beach... what's their detention, layover, Breakdown policy just saw they have these coast to coast turn around lanes (fl to ca) caught my eye I always thought otr was long haul 1500 minimum runs...

    How high is your idle? I've never been called, and I'm out of the Lincoln terminal. I would think they would be strict. I'm around 15-17% every month, was around 25% in January and February, but that was when I had a bad battery, causing it to idle to charge.

    No drop lot in Florida that I am aware of. We do a lot of outbound juice out of Lk Wales. Occasionally, that may be a d&h, but mostly live load. I do a very high percentage of live load and live unload. I often have the same trailer for a month.

    Detention is $16hr starting at 2 hrs past appt time. Breakdown and Layover are $160 per day. You do not change trucks. I broke down close to home in February and the truck was in Freightliner Orlando for 27 days. I was paid 26 days @ $160 per day to stay home. I spent 3 days at Freightliner in Mt Vernon, Illinois last week and got paid $480 break down on this check.

    I spent two 34 hr resets at company shops this last time out getting minor stuff done while getting the resets that I needed. Got paid $75 for each reset. We always get $75 per reset on the road if we report it, which I do.

    I average over 1,500 miles per load. There are some multi stop loads, but mostly one pick and one drop.

    I usually run Florida to Minnesota and then Minnesota to the PNW. My dispatcher and I both prefer that. I just met a driver from Tampa at the Caldwell, Idaho terminal that had just hired on to do Florida to the Southwest. I know we have some Florida to California loads but I've never asked for one. I'm not to fond of running California.

    I just finished 3 consecutive 3,000 mile loads last Friday. First time in my driving career to have 3 consecutive 3,000 mile loads.

    Called Lincoln last Wednesday...ask to speak person in charge of maintenance...about shop not wanting give me another toll transponder ..got Winston's voicemail ...if he's now boss of Hunt ...maybe Creaffer maintenance department will improve
