I'm facing the same(ish) dilemma.

Flail mower finally came in, Finally got a few passes in around some of the trees. Then got distracted by another project.......

Wondered out to do some more mowing and now the ferns are taller than my baby pine trees. Going to have to walk down the ferns to find the pines so they do not get mowed also.

May just drop back and pick my battles a bit by taking the chainsaw to the Scotch Broom. Then only worry about the areas designated for the pump house and green house for the flail mowing this year.

 

Summer time is officially here and eating genetically modified food is the best part. Bicolor sweet corn and seedless watermelon top my list. They went great with the ribs. Since @homeskillet is going to minasnowta I will assault the commie annex east tomorrow.

 

During the outskirts of mowing around and laying it off, i had a brainstorm.

Decided to leave those 2 acres for the little small animals when they harvest, I just mowed the one acre around the house, so i’m done...
