Regarding the rodent discussion....

I read somewhere (NY Post, I think) that Dollar Store, Walmart, and a bunch of other retailers are discontinuing the sale of glue board traps due to pressure from PETA.

PETA opposes use of said traps because the rodents "die a slow and agonizing death".

Just to recap, "rodents" in the preceding sentence refers to "rats and mice", destructive pests and proven vectors of many serious human diseases.

So, somebody living in some rat-infested urban ####-hole that they can barely afford to live in, let alone move out of, is denied a relatively inexpensive and easy to use remedy for a rat infestation, because it offends the delicate sensibilities of a group of busybody suburban vegans with too much money and not enough work to do.

The city will give you clean, shiny needles to shoot up heroin with, just no glue boards.

"Okay, I'll take the needles. I'll try getting the rats hooked on heroin."

Cripes.....

 

Be careful with remote start if you park in garage attached to your house. Our neighbors left the fob on the counter, one of the kids started the car and they went to bed. Someone did a welfare check the next afternoon and found all 4 of them dead.
