Got fired from Crete, almost made it 3 months. Came with a clean DAC, MVR, and PSP. They let me go because of their strict point policy via there dashcam nonsense, my passing distance wasn't 4+ seconds, not coming to a complete stop at stop signs (even the ones that are on warehouse property, I promise you I don't just roll tf on through them, I double check left, right, front and back before proceeding), and what was the nail in the coffin was me conducting a U-Turn on a road that was built for a new warehouse because I misunderstood the warehouses directions on how to get to their drop yard across said street and I didn't think doing a U-Turn on a blank road where no traffic was being conducted would get me fired 560 miles away from my personal vehicle with no assistance to get to it (don't go to Crete is all I'm saying, they're strict, like Walmart fleet strict, maybe stricter either way, they don't pay enough to deal with that and they do plan on putting those "coaching cameras" in alllllllll their vehicles, safety coordinator told me so) EITHER WAY the point of the matter is, is why are there carriers that won't touch because I was fired? No accidents, no violations, no tickets, no nothing that gets most people fired from a driving job makes me untouchable for up to year for a lot of these companies? I decided to go local and landed a job regardless ($29/hr + OT), I just don't understand why my firing was essentially from me and Crete not being a good fit for each other makes me less diserable to a lot of other companies because of that and I'm pondering on why that actually is.

And just to add to this, I've got 3 years OTR and 4 years local, dry van and reefer only.

Where are you located? Probably several companies will hire you.
Always submit applications before calling. Easy to say "No" on a phone call.

I hate drivers that cut passes too close, and really man, how hard is it to stop at stop signs?
Even so thanks for the heads up about the level of nanny cam bullship
Also I wonder if they are taking this downturn to clean house, I wonder if a lot of places are going to clean house when freight stays slow

the reason the others see you as undesirable, is they see you as an accident risk.

Crete needs to teach their window lickers to stay the F out of the center lanes onnthe freeways when they're going 5-10mph under the gd limit. Always ##### up the program.

Speed limits in major metropolitan areas are generally 70 ..crete trucks are governed at 68.
