This company sucks!!!! Op's needed me to get up early and pick up a load that was supposed to be preloaded on 6/29. Desperate to get it delivered in Lake City, FL by this afternoon. I get here and...it's not preloaded because...survey says....nobody brought them an empty trailer to preload...no trailers to load, and short #### runs...I think after @RussianBearTruckeR makes it 4999 drivers here, I'll be making it 4998 and they can shove their truck, their Op's department, and the whole company where the sun don't shine...if they can figure out how to pull their head out of there 1st.
Snackbar is chillin'....at Shaffer

Not trying to "sidetrack" again? Not like the last few times?
Back to SSB's thread......Geekonthestreet, JoeyJunk, gentleroger and 1 other person Thank this. -
That's the thing with large companies. The different departments don't communicate, so ops just see that there's a preload on their board that they need covered. I would assume their system would keep track if a trailer was dropped off but it's probably on a different screen and company didn't have techs program it to have an alert if no trailer at a location if a preload is setup.
On another note I checked with a tanker company I was looking at but I need to live within 50 miles of a terminal even if I want to do OTR.
Kinda sad but that seems to be every tanker company. Regardless if you going to be out for days they still want you to live close. Schneider is again the only one cause they allow up to 200 miles from a terminal but I be dmned if I go back there a 3rd time.
Other than the constant short hauls and hick ups as of late, I'll probable stay here for the time being. Still brought in $1100 after taxes for a whole week of same day short hauls.Lonesome, RussianBearTruckeR, JoeyJunk and 1 other person Thank this. -

Had to wait until the CSR in Lincoln came in for the customer. Found out, the load had never been put on their schedule, even though it was sent to us to pick up, with all the pickup info. So, after a wasted morning, they voided me off the load. While not all the problems here are our fault, just like when I was at Crete, it seems as though this company is a trouble load magnet. I NEVER had so many problem loads with other companies as when I do working for an Acklie company.
Now I am on a trailer hunt, being routed from one customer to another, looking for an empty...I have 1/2 of fuel...I may just tell this company to f-off and bobtail to Deland.Last edited: Jul 1, 2022

Bobtailed me all the way to McDonough from the west side of Atlanta and no empties. Why don't we just go the #### out of business. I bet Mr. A is doing barrel rolls in his mausoleum (or wherever his final resting place is) when he looks at how far down the camode the company he built has swirled.....
Now, they're sending me back up to Marietta from McDonough...I was 25 miles from Marietta when this ######## started...I am getting dizzy going around in circles.
Update-and I get to Marietta and...the empty trailer I was told to pick up is hooked to an idling truck. I told them I was done for the day. It took me 5 hours to run 200 miles around in circles fighting Atlanta holiday traffic, stalled trucks blocking lanes, rolled over trucks just off interchange ramps, for what...another wasted day. Told them to send me somewhere tomorrow that I can get a load home, and I will decide after some hometime whether the truck comes back to Deland cleaned out or not...I cannot believe this company is this disorganized and disfunctional.Last edited: Jul 1, 2022
