I remember getting into a bit of an argument with a yard dog driver about dropping a loaded trailer. I actually got my 50' Tape measure out and showed him it was not physically possible to get in that space. He said that is the only place left. So I did what my daddy taught me to do. I made a $20 bet he could not spot that trailer in that space. The moral of that story was I did not get $20 bucks, but I watched that guy move about 5 trailers so HE could spot my loaded trailer. To this day I still laugh at that guy.

I just had to make a bologna sandwich, this traumatic experience and the fact that peterbilt infront of me has his wipers off, but they’re standing straight up.

Yes they do... We have 20 loads on the board today. We normally only have 2 or 3 drivers... Today we called in reenforcement drivers and a few trucks as well. My truck is in the shop, should be done by late morning. In the mean time I'm in a POS Plastic Pete daycab with a 10 speed pulling my train.

Temperature up to 75 dew point is still 59 so after 1.5 hours of yard work shirt is completely soaked with out even breathing hard. Just not much evaporation happening. Still better than the current conditions in the southwest.

I slept in. Heading to see progress on truck. Maybe replace cab mounts. I am sure I can use the excuse I am in their way and just come back home.

If you say so Dale. Anyone I ever tell about your views on how wonderful Michigan's climate is, I almost have to resuscitate cause they can't breathe from laughing so hard.

Keri called me from Chicago. She was able to snag a seat on a flight and is leaving in about 90 minutes. Planning to be in Charlotte Tonight. If she can get to Norfolk tonight will try. What I have been hearing is that American and Delta both are still not 100% and most of those commuter flights are booked solid. We shall see!

My lazy arse did exactly what I said I would only I used the excuse it’s too late in the day to get started. Oh well. It affords me time to get bolts for the engine mounts. They didn’t come with bolts and some tall, bald doofus didn’t order any. That guy is a real tool.
