What would be fair for otr is similar to what wmt and Sherwin Williams does and that's pay for all aspects of the physical job and sacrifice of living on the road in a truck but, specifically reefer, we're actually on duty 24 7 when under load cause if the reefer craps out while sleeping guess who has to save the freight!

Top cpm, compensation for drop n hook at least $10 a pop, on duty time used up well that shaves off your 70 or driving time aka the money maker so pay us hourly, sleeping is protecting the truck and freight and your not at home your technically on duty protecting freight or the truck so pay us for that, hold planners dispatch accountable for steady miles if not guaranteed pay, layover pay (hold planners dispatch accountable, charge them for not running us right unless it's a customer issue), detention should be 20 to 25 an hour after 1 hour good drivers already give up a free hour to make appt times, need to clean our trailer that's physical labor ## you pay me, washout hourly pay its a task... if hourly OT after 8 and 40, extra pay for weekend work and holiday pay like everyone else... will it happen probably not but thats where you have all your endorsements and look at everything out there not only otr! Stay safe and best wishes ssb for a none nerve-racking job that's pays you what you deserve!

When I spoke to my A/M the other day, I found out that he has done this job prior to coming to Shaffer. That explains how he got up to speed with our system so quickly. He ended up being as good as my original A/M was for the most part...and it also explains how he always seemed to handle things in a calm rational manner, no matter how grumpy I was, depending on the latest problem that was taking center stage.

They said I could, but...I would be coming in as a new hire in regards to a physical, orientation and road test. They only thing I would carry over would be profit sharing/401k, insurance, and seniority for vacation time. Pay would be based on any flatbed experience (which is only 3 years at WyMoore), so I would have to go thru securement/tarp training (which I do need some, especially in certain areas)...it was then I found out Mr. O, jr. was running the show at Hunt, which made me decide not to move. Plus, it's the same Junkliners we have over here, just a different color paint, so that wouldn't solve a large part of why I am leaving.

It was a Crete trailer, most likely one that didn't have the new location system installed yet. I am willing to bet that it is somewhere behind a non-Crete truck with no stickers on it.
