That was my thoughts, then took a step back and ask myself why they would not just putter on down the road.

I think the part that may not have been reported could be a Cali port type setup. The "owner Ops" may be leasing their trucks from the carrier, with a lease that specifies they can not take the truck somewhere else until it's paid off. Company couldn't care less.. they miss a payment and the company can just take the truck and rent it to somebody else by the week.........
