The other day I delivered to a warehouse. I was wearing this exact shirt:

Before being buzzed into the actual warehouse area, receiving guy says I have to put a safety vest on.
I say,"These are reflective stripes."
Still gotta wear one.
Okay.

Best part was getting buzzed through the door and seeing no one in the warehouse area with a vest on.

 

I always get that at some jobsites. U know the jobsites where's there more safety guys then actual workers... I always wear a safety Orange or green shirt when picking up and delivering. Then I have to wear a vest on top of it?

 

They used to try that vest deal at rails, only CN/CSX/BN enforced it NS not so much.
I wore my high vis shirts and no one said word, until one day, this idiot security guard lady,

Supposed to have lights on while moving.
At gate you gotta shut truck down, so I turned off lights, you may sit on the phone/gate check in 30 minutes.

She yelled at me, I told her to go read that huge list of 15 rules, “Lights on when in Motion.” was rule either 14 or 15.

She said she’d go get the terminal boss, I told her to go get him, I ain’t scared of him either,

We had a discussion about rules on yard.
She didn’t stay long, was abusing power to everyone and had to many complaints.
