Or being paid $0. I have had multiple apologies from the management at the dealer, my dispatcher has apologized for the truck issues, and even complimented me for handling this without going ballistic over this issue. Told him that if SPD wasn't paying me like they are, it would be a different story, but they aren't pushing me into another truck that was parked, they're putting me in an acceptable hotel, and paying me enough to survive. So I figure that, in the long run, being positive and patient will end up benefitting me...I have never done that before...I am in uncharted territory :biggrin_2559:

Sitting in the driver's seat of my truck, engine running, and no little yellow engine shaped night light.

Of course it's 15:00 on a Friday, which isn't the most opportune time for finding a flatbed load...I may end up having to wait until Monday to pu... but I knew stuff like that happens when pulling open deck.

Started truck, hooked to the trailer, and waited for the Peoplenet to find my location...and it never did. Called Peoplenet and they went thru all the reset and b.s. they can do remotely. They said the last time the unit had a location fix was Tuesday. They said the unit is bad, so now I get to do a hybrid e-log. Every location for every duty status change has to be entered manually. It changes to drive time automatically, but I have to remember to enter the location where I started rolling from when I stop because it doesn't know where I left from. #### Peoplenet, I will be glad when they decide which system we are changing to so we can junk this crap system.

To be honest, I have had about all I can take with this whole job. This is not a dig on SPD, I like them, and they sincerely try to take care of me...but honestly, when God likes to #### with you and #### on you every chance he gets...it doesn't matter where you work or don't work... you're screwed. I personally feel he is just like a spoiled child with an ant farm and a magnifying glass getting his jollies toasting our ###...honestly, I kinda wish someone would just push the button and then in a million years, the world could restart.
