Is it CB spam season or what?

    I know there's always spam somewhere on the radio. But starting last week there has been a massive influx of it. I'm on up to 3 channels throughout my days at work when I go in the mills. It doesn't seem to matter which one. There's some idiot on there all of a sudden coming in super loud. A new Space Age truck stop opened last week 20 minutes from my work in Washington. Coincidence? Who knows.

    These spam guys in my opinion are the scum of trucking. Has anyone ever met one of them? Does anyone know what they're talking about? They all seem to be from the south. Is someone really just sitting in a room somewhere spouting nonsense all day?

    Anyways. Just sitting here at a mill trying to communicate with employees and have to listen to that as well. Thought I'd ask.

    Big CB radios and small IQ's have always gone hand in hand. I think they come equipped from the factory with a fake okie accent or something, because it seems like these guys always have that southern twang when they key the mic.
