Will insurance pay that entire 120k or are you going to be out of pocket a big wad?

    No
They’ll pay me market on mine so anything more than that is out of pocket

Sounds like that trailer should suit you fine, but if you decide to switch in a couple of years, shouldn't be too hard to sell, its not some bizarre trailer, or super specialized.

    Thanks for the info

    I’m looking for a 53’ all aluminum

I’ll try calling the one on Truck Paper but all the ones I’ve been calling show inventory but when you call they all say nothing available

One company actually said all trailers are sold through 2023

    Judge Thanks this.

Seems a little risky going out of pocket on something your unsure of, right as the market is reversing to a downward trajectory. I could see you losing all of that out of pocket money, or being stuck in that trailer type.

That’s just an unbiased outside opinion. It does sound like that trailer is up to your level of quality at-least. I know you run first class stuff.

    ProfessionalNoticer and GYPSY65 Thank this.

I certainly get the risk factor but if everything starts to drop and I don’t like the step then I guess I would find that flat on sale??
So lose on one and make up on the other???

I think I’ll like it but I’ll just have to relearn the business to a degree
Usually run light so that’s not or shouldn’t be an issue
Usually never a full deck so that’s not an issue and I rarely bump a dock and the ones I have it seems they could have loaded me another way but never paid much attention to that

Most of what I do is in a building or yard

    If nothing else
If things go sideways It will look good at the sale!!!

I was going over the spec sheet
He has all stainless everything. 4 tool boxes which are around $5k. I might eliminate two of those?
    Kit is all stainless etc
The kit alone is is $41,000 of that so I think that’s where the price jumped the most
    Trailer was around $78k
