I have a some terms for that line of thinking, but they're not allowed here.
@Ruthless is a better business man than I am. He has a natural skill at selling himself and his business that I do not. That's why I'm leased on, because I don't have that talent. I don't begrudge him the money he earns or cry that it's not fair. I'm just as good of a driver and just as good at providing service to customers, but in business those are not the most important skills for profitability.
The biggest driver of profit for a business, any business, is sales and marketing.
If you can’t sell yourself, then you're at the mercy of those that can.blairandgretchen, MartinFromBC, Brettj3876 and 7 others Thank this. -

In the states a IRS audit is different than a DOT audit. One is financials the other is making sure you’re following the rules and regulations.Last edited: Oct 14, 2022

A slogan is a literal invention, not necessarily carrying truth but rather imposing a thought.
For example slogans are:
"Say no to cheap freight"
"United we stand"
"Don't drink and drive -Alcohol blurrs you mind and corrupts your soul" etc.

The proverb I used was taken from my original language and ad hoc translated with my sincere hopes to paraphrase otherwise complex answer to your question.
I am not very familiar with American proverbs.
By using that proverb, mind you, I could not intend nor remotely try or even insinuate any insult, disregard or lack of tact to any member who might bother to read it.
I will try to reply to your other statements a little later. I simply felt that this reply had to be prioritized.singlescrewshaker Thanks this. -
You're playing both sides of the coin. Not judging, just saying.

Talljoe needs to just go to work for someone so he can get his fair share. Leave the business to someone who can function without the stupid government involved.
