It can be done but you better make sure you know what you are doing
You need proper ventilation calculated for the space you are in and a carbon monoxide detector.
You mess things up and you can die
That said I have used one for winter van camping for years

I'll stick with my Espar bunk heater. Best $1200 I've spent. And lots safer.

I did until I got my heat fixed. Vented both front windows and one vent in sleeper. Carbon monoxide detector of course. Got my generator mounted now. Will use space heater or heating element in my AC unit.

I'd imagine you'd need a pretty powerful inverter as well.
Personally, I'd invest in an Espar.
    Them rascals will cook you

    77fib77 and Siinman Thank this.

In low temperature don't be surprised with generator quit working due to low propane pressure.

The buddy heater runs off of propane. The generator is gasoline. I’m not using the buddy heater anymore not that I have the generator.

Honestly surprised you didn’t get a bunch of shock horror posts on this one.

There’s no way I’d use one in an enclosed space.

Aren’t they designed for the likes of deer hunters in cold drafty deer blinds?
