Quick update. I know it's been awhile. We got another raise. 11 percent. It's $459 each way for our run. Works out to 119k each yearly. We also got another new Peterbilt 579. Last one had 500k on it. We have not slowed down on freight. We have a load everyday even thru the pandemic. We're both still happy and plan to retire here. Hope this helps

Thats awesome glad its going great. Will they let you work a 6th day? Good to know there freight hasn't slowed down.. cant wait to get hired ill let you know how it goes probably be a month or two before i start -
Do you ever have to go to a railyard to pick up an intermodal or is it always relays and terminal to terminal?
How do you know when its your last load and ready to go on hometime? Do you have to put in for in manually every week or do they already have your pre planned to work certain schedules each week you come off hometime?IndianaMike Thanks this. -
He’s on the same run every day. He drives 575 miles one way and his wife drives the other. They have 4 hours at home every day and they go back out and do it again. I think 5 days a week.
xlsdraw and IndianaMike Thank this. -
Also id like to know when your running wild how do you know when its time for you to go on hometime and how will you know what day and time your scheduled to come back off hometime?
Im guessing that if you run wild once the load comes back to your home terminal or closest too and you are on your 5h day then thats when you go on hometime but im not positive just a theory as of now. -
Figured you'd appreciate input from somebody that has worked at the terminals that you're applying for and doing the very same thing. Running wild and running dedicated isn't even the same world. You asked, I answered.
Funny how people get mad because you don't tell them what they wanna hear.
Go knock yourself out and make your $150K a year.
Peace. -
Wtf nobody is mad pal. You gave info on something indiana mike already explained. That was my question tho sounds like your mad. No where in my response was i ever mad not sure where you got that assumption from.
I know how wild and dedicated work ive done both. Yahll responses sound like your talking to someone whos getting into trucking and has never drove before. No need to get mad bro. -
