Effective 1/1/23, no commercial trucks produced 2010 or before will be allowed on California roads.

We're already having supply shortages of some items out here, so it will be interesting to see how this plays out. Went to my local supermarket yesterday for some eggs and there were none, this even though I live in one of the largest egg producing areas in the US. Can't wait to get out of this S-hole.

Yet rates coming out of CA are still crap.. as are intrastate rates.

They will be wavered. Or else the state will be accused of being racist, xenophobic, bigots and white nationalist.

Unless they’re going to hire enough staff and set up checkpoints at the border about all this applies to is in state trucks where they can deny registration on older trucks.

I guess they figure most fleets aren't still running any stuff that old anyway, and we already know how they feel about 1099 lease-op guys.

California is smart and progressive. They'll figure it all out.
