Don’t care about the money. Just wanting to know what are the absolute brightest head lights I can get for the truck , 90% of all trucks and cars have these bright leds and can’t see crap when going by them

The best ones are the ones that are correctly aimed, not necessarily the brightest ones.

That is correct as I’ve always said that myself. But even having them Aimed correctly when 90% of people have laser beams shooting through your eyes doesn’t fix that. And the ONLY time this is an issue is with people with the bright ### led lights. Not a problem with people with normal lights

SO you want to blind more people because others are blinding you?

People don’t get it and I’ve grown tired of explaining it. The 579 has the worst headlights. Mine were so dim, when cars passed me I couldn’t even see my light field in theirs. Can’t read street signs, can’t see on black pavement, it’s a real pain. Any time you bring it up they assume you’re wanting to blind every other motorist on the road.

Finally for ‘23 they are sufficient. I’m not sure if they use new bulbs, if the housing is different, or both but the ‘22 and older 579 headlights are terrible.

I felt the headlights in my 2017 579 were fine and I run a lot of 2 lane roads. Yes the ones on my 2022 are better with the redesign of the hood and lights.

Having brighter headlights won’t help you see any better if oncoming traffic has bright lights, especially if you’re staring right into their lights. The best thing to do is watch the fog line until they go by you.

Not trying to derail OP’s original question….

I know what you mean, people coming at me with high beams on don’t phase me, just annoy me. My gripe was the very low output of the previous 579 lights. My ambers did I better job at illuminating road signage. I could blink my parking lights and watch the signs disappear.

Now I’m wondering if there were different options for the lights. Mine always looked clear like this on my old truck even though they were pitted when you looked closely at them, but looking at Truckpaper some of the 579’s the plastic doesn’t look as clear. That could be why people have differing experiences with them.
