Wife said I was off the hook as I really blew it out for her birthday in November and again for Christmas.

Uh-uh... I'm not falling for that trap.

I went to her work (grocery store) when she wasn't there and asked the floral manager to see if my wife comes around eyeballing anything in particular, then I came back a week later for my report. I selected a bear (she was looking at all of them), a lily and this other plant potted together (she was eyeballing lilies), and the ILY bouquet (my choice for her). She doesn't like roses, which is a shame because they have a dozen for $20 (she has much more expensive taste).

I joked and asked how much delivery would be (its $9.99 in town, and varying rates for surrounding towns), and she said she wouldn't charge me, but she won't take them to the back office. She gets to embarrass her by delivering it when she's spotted in the store's aisles (she's in product management and has to check behind stockers to ensure they rotated properly as well as going through and verifying/changing product pricing).

I hope my wife still remembers all of this on March 14th (International Steak and BJ Day)!

have you actually tried shopping for any sort of special occasion card..??

i have 4 people that have birthdays coming real soon....try finding a birthday card. the local CVS used to have like 4 isles of all sorts of cards...they are down to like 2.5 isles now, and the pickings are slim.

oh, i could go to the local shopping mall, and park like 27 miles away from the store, and after the oxygen mask comes off, continue to walk another 42 miles to the store...and take off the mask again.

    So.
I was told not to do a repeat of a few years back.
I’d forgotten Valentines.. So when ole lady came in bedroom i was lying there with nothing but a Christmas red bow on chest.

She didn’t like her “present” because she’s already “been there done that”

It takes a LOT to get back out of trouble after that..

Got my GF the complete Jurassic Park DVD set.
She got me something dino themed.
I think she was more happy that we got each other dinosaur stuff (without talking about it or dropping hints etc) than the actual DVD set.

Once you do the oil change, you can use the empty plastic one quart containers to make homemade brush guards for the handlebars.
That's some next level KLR stuff.
