You're in a Cascadia correct? They have descent control that works great in the mountains. Easy peasy.

If you only got 25k in the box, clear weather and never been west of Denver on 70, I agree with the others nows the perfect time. Gear down and jake up. Remember goin down a mountain fast doesn’t add inches to your #### so it’s not worth it. You can go down too slow many times, you can only go down too fast once. Enjoy!

Change of plans. A bunch of freezing fog has did a number on I-70 out here in western Kansas and eastern Colorado. Got out of my truck and almost fell on my ###. Traffic is crawling along at 40-45 mph. All the way past Limon. And winter storm watches are in effect for the Rockies and Utah now. I'm gonna detour south to get out of this crap and catch one of the highways going to I-25 heading to Albuquerque and then west. Oh well, there will be more opportunities I'm sure.

Left the house Tuesday morning, got a two stop broker load out of Monroe, Nc going to KCMO and Omaha. Currently in KCMO getting this stop off.

After empty in Omaha I will go to CB and pick up a loaded trailer going to Mc Cook, Ne. for a drop. Then bounce to Aurora and grab a load going out to San Bernardino for Sunday night.

Public service announcement: if you drop a loaded trailer at one of the yards, please make sure you leave the bills in the nose box!! Ugh!

Hey @cdavis188…. If you want a nice change of pace across CO, drop down and take US 50. You’ll thank me later, especially when your on top of Monarch.

there’s a few places to see and stop along the way as well.

    cdavis188 Thanks this.

I like taking US 6 over Loveland pass. I take my 30 minute breaks up there a lot.

    cdavis188 Thanks this.
