And it's orange and red all the way to York, NE. Looks like my load won't make it until Tuesday morning. Then that pushes my pu in WI out to Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday. I will be glad when winter is finally over. Who'da thought that we would be talking about most of NE's interstate being shut down this close to April.

I’m glad I got ahead of that ran out of MT on Friday headed to VA, and I also briefly thought of dropping down to I80, winter needs to leave the room…
Yesterday I saw a couple of new T680 condos for SPD headed west, looks like you’ll still have a few new tall roofs in the fleet.Lonesome Thanks this. -

Wyoming was good and bad today. Drive 30 or 40 miles, not a whiff of snow, come over the crest of a hill and BAM, pure Zamboni polished ice from snow drifts being run over. Had one section that was about 20 miles long, pure ice...except the shoulder where all the sand got pushed from vehicles. Still managed to get to Cheyenne by 11 am or so, a little after noon, they opened 80 to Nebraska. Once in Nebraska, for quite a while, it was snowless...no snow in the fields or the shoulder or the median. Then before Big Springs, some snow, but for being shut down as long as it was, I expected SUV size mounds of snow on the shoulder. Despite all the ice and wind and waiting on the road to open, I still managed 696 miles and made it to the Sapps in York. I spoke to the customer and he was kinda waiting on us to call, he was thinking that Monday was a bit optimistic for unloading. I told him that I left Friday, and if it weren't for the road closures, I would have been sitting in his driveway about the time Mr. Coffee got the 1st pot brewed. He said Tuesday morning is fine, and I have until 15:00 to pick up in WI, so it's all good.
