So far it’s been pre-trip focused. There’s only four of us in class and my classmates are wonderful.
Seth0194 Thanks this. -
Did more pre-trip stuff and got a shifting demonstration from our instructors. If you eager to learn, then you will definitely learn and soak in the information that is being taught here.

Day three in the books. We learned how to trip plan and learned how to fill out paper logs. Our instructor is wonderful and overall I’m liking everything.

Today went very well. Did some classroom work and some pre-trip inspection out on the range. Watched an offset left and right maneuver.
I am very pleased with my decision to go down to Sage. My classmates are awesome and above all, so are the instructors.jackoboyo Thanks this. -
I’m going to be visiting a trucking company over in Dade city come the following week. I want to sit down with safety and recruiting and see what their expectations are.

So Friday I checked out of my hotel and did the final exam. I did my ELDT training this morning. It’s pretty simple if you understand and have taken the permit test. If you pay attention in class, you should be able to get the vast majority of the quizzes right on the ELDT training which is done online.
I have nothing but praise to say about the instructors. They’re there to do a job and that is to prepare you for the CDL test. They do an excellent job I might add at prepairing you.rockeee Thanks this. -
Here are some photos of my hotel room that I used with points from the Holiday Inn. I highly recommend if anybody is going to Sage to consider booking a hotel midway between the range and the classroom over at Indian River community college. Where are you do your classroom work.

If anybody has any questions about Sage, please feel free to send me a PM or reply here. I just want to say that the ELDT training, you can redo the quizzes if you do not get the 80% which is required on them. Sage sets the ELDT training and it is included in the cost of tuition.
Also included in the cost of tuition is a copy of the motor carrier rulebook. You will watch several videos which will benefit you. You will have the opportunity to volunteer on the second and third day to do pre-trip inspection with the instructor watching your every move and critiquing what you did wrong so that you can get it right. -
Hey I took my CDL test there I believe the tester was. Fellow by the name of Eric I had the great opportunity to do the test three times failed the first time due to my med card was out of date the second one was do to me going to fast. When you pull out of the parking lot and into the road it has two posted speeds one for trucks and one for cars I was going to fast there is no lee way on posted mph on the test.
