    What's wrong with getting in and out of the truck fifty times? Driving 600 miles a shift, I'm sure the exercise is only beneficial.

    Don't they have stop bars anymore on sliders? I haven't pulled on since I sold my reefer in 94, but they used to have a bar that went through both rails that you could place where you wanted to stop and nudge up against it.

    The guy waiting to back into the dock he’s sitting in front of….
    Nothing is more frustrating than a guy that slides his tandems, or looks at his map, or does his log book while blocking the dock as you are waiting for him to move so you can back in.

    They do... at the ends of the subframe.

    What @Judge is talking about on the other hand is something to help stop the tandem where you think it needs to be, hence the portable pins.
