FCC--Fremont Contract Carriers

I'd get one after I got experience in owner operator side of the business and learned how to make money or loose money. Also when rates are higher.

 

Well.... learning how to loose money won't be hard lol

 

I have watched many owner operators loose money fast. Easy to do when you have no clue. Poet and don't even know it.

 

Pulled into a pickle park just north of Avenal, CA. Came across the top on 58 into Bakersfield and I've never seen so many orchards in my life.

I will take @JohnBoy suggestion and stop at the truck stop he mentioned in Oregon. That will put me about 2.5 hours from Salem with enough time to get in a 34 before delivery on Monday morning.

After delivery, I will head up to Yakima, WA to pick up a preloaded trailer going down to Fort Worth for a delivery next Friday.

My truck is gonna be well overdue for service by the time they eventually route me to Nebraska. It's nice to know what I'm doing for the next week though.

 

I love long haul freight way better than a dedicated gig working only regional.

 

Last time I went that way, all of those fruit and nut trees were flowering. Came off that last grade, and right as I passed that Chevron, the smell hit me… If I could bottle that smell, I would be RICH.

 

I'm just gonna say this. It's amazing the amount of AM stations you can pick up at night, and how far away you can pick them up from.

 

That's where I started listening to the weird crap on Coast to coast to keep me awake when driving all night when I first started, when it was Coast to Coast am, before sirius xm

 

You'll see a bunch of apples and potatoes up there, hauled my fair share

 

Is that the one where people would call in about UFO sightings?
