Has it been a problem all those years? Is that the only customer that this issue comes up consistently? Does every driver that picks up there have this issue? Is it an everytime thing, or just once in awhile? Have you actually asked them to fix whatever is causing the problem? Offered them suggestions on how to fix it? I mean if you're ok constantly calling in to get the number, that's fine too I guess.
No, not a dispatcher, I don't have the patience to deal with drivers crying at me all day. That think they're the only one I have to deal with. I'm just trying to understand the hostility towards someone that's just trying to earn a paycheck like you or me. I'm sure you never make mistakes that make their job harder.

Very nice. You must have the express elevator. Are you shooting on getting as close as possible then taking a reset wherever you land tomorrow night?

Unfortunately I didn't run far enough after picking up. I want to get to North Bend, but it's 750 to the T/A from where I am at tonight, and Ellensburg is a bit too far out for me to do a 34 then head in on Monday, I don't want to start my day that early just in case. I have already let Ops know that I'm going to have most of my 11 & 14 and around 30 on my 70, so hopefully they can get the ball rolling before I get empty... thankfully my regular travel agent is back at his desk on Monday, so maybe things will go back to more normal.

I have changed my mind...made it to Ellensburg, fueled and found out the showers are down while they remodel at the Love's. Came over to the Peelot around the circle and got parked. I am only 95 miles from the delivery, so I will go ahead and reset after all. I figure one of 2 things will happen Monday, 1-get empty and head for the yard while they hunt freight or 2-head somewhere for a Tuesday reload, either way, it will help to have almost a full clock and I'll be ready to turn and burn just in case. If I do manage to get a load to pick up on Monday, I can get it and get far enough away to start the run after loading.

    Oh, and there is this

Slacker! I knocked out 691 with a 64’ double drop. I wasn’t planing on running this far but figured, what the heck. I pulled in with 6 min to spare. This is a nicer loves anyway. 806D82F7-20CA-45CE-8BB3-904C44543CCD.jpeg
As of today in 432 miles into bonus land. 570 to drop in Georgia than who knows what. I’ll only have about 8 left on my 70.

edit to add: with my luck they would have snoqualmie closed on Monday and I would miss my delivery. I hate that overgrown hill.
