Believe it or not, changing batteries on the PrePass is something the shops have on their maintenance lists.
But if you start getting no “by pass” at the weigh stations you can change them out. Or just check if they list contact which is what mine does on occasion.

I think y’all jinx me. Today my APU isn’t keeping up either. Will run the engine a bit through the heat of the day for a bit. After the sun drops a bit, it will probably keep up again.

I would like to believe that but I mounted my PrePass near the bottom of the windshield, slightly off center, and my GPS is mounted just above it, but in such a way that I can still see the indicator lights on the device and the right hood mirror. Seen as my GPS never appears messed with after shop time I'm assuming they haven't touched it. Unless they're very good and putting things back that they've taken off. I might replace them just to be on the safe side, because I believe the PrePass handles toll roads as well.

Noticed lots of FCC traffic since Thursday in Texas. That lane must be picking up.

That's exactly how mine is mounted, no need to change them, they are good for about a year. They will change them when they're due, I haven't changed mine since August, working finecdavis188 Thanks this.

Also something weird. On my truck, I can set cruise at 69, my speedometer maxes out at 68, and most of the time my GPS says I go 67. I'm not sure what's going on here.
