Some states lower weight on bridges on 80k roads.
Arkansas did that a few years back, be a major 80k road with a 13 ton bridge on it.

If you have watched as many Idiots At Work videos as I have then you know it's those wooden bridges that collapse the most often.

No way in heck would I be wanting to cross a bridge with wood slats as its surface.
