I read that tax revenues in California for 2022 were down something like 26%. I believe ours are up 16% for the same period.

To quote Doc Holiday, "there's going to be a reckoning" , and probably pretty soon.

I think there should be some adjustments. Have not seen much progress on the State of Jefferson though.

Not sure if there is a mechanism for Cali to manage itself as multiple regions so that the laws and regs that may be good for L.A. region stop messing up the folks at the Northern quarter of the state.

And the political discussions around the changes that would happen in D.C. around statehood for Puerto Rico or D.C. makes me think any adjustment will not happen until a major national societal cataclysm happens.
