Pulled into Boise City, OK with 12 minutes left on my clock. 670 miles for the day. I was going to stop in Garden City but driving the extra 150 miles puts me in a better position time wise for my backhaul.

That’s a tough spot to find a parking space often.

Also I only ran 28,100 paid miles last quarter. Not very good :biggrin_25513:

I attribute that to A. me being home earlier than expected most of the time, B. eating a lot of non paid deadhead miles and C. the week and a half I took off for my vacation last month.

It's too early to tell just yet since this is the first week I've been on SWR with a normal schedule, but I feel like I'm much more productive.

A condensed work week means less time for me to be lazy and loiter around, which I have a bad tendency of doing. Since I'm always taking a load through the house now, my nonpaid deadhead miles are now nonexistent. And my weekly pay and miles will be a lot more consistent.

I also did some simple math and for me to hit the 34,000 mile bonus for this quarter, I will have to average about 2,650 miles per week if i don't take any extra days off, which seems pretty easy to accomplish on this fleet.

Really? I've rarely seen the Love's here completely full. And if it does it's not until really late.

No. Like if I drop my last load in Lincoln and bobtail 200 miles for hometime. Those miles aren't paid. I think they should be, but they're not.
