OK - I'll keep a lookout. They'll probably be local to here (Joplin), but I could at least go and look if I see one (you know how the pictures can be deceiving).

Sorry to hear your one is down.

Neighbor across the road sold his remaining 30 cows. Scott that buys/hauls hay said he hasn't hauled any this year, either too high, or poor quality.

Neighbor was saying $100/bale - found some at $85 but didn't want to pay Scott $500 to haul it 50 miles. (He doesn't quite understand that trucks actually cost money).

Curious, also. How can you be driving it, if you don't own it? Even if it's financed, it's still on you, isn't it? Maybe an engine swap for what you'd have to pay for a new one would be an option, or paying for an inframe rebuild would seem to me to be a better option than losing on what you already spent, and then having to acquire a new one to replace it....or am I missing something in this equation that I haven't thought about? Sorry if I'm making assumptions you don't care to answer to straighten me out on, but, in my research for options should I actually get into my own, I've had to look at a lot of scenarios for options that I'd need to plan for and so far, you're making the idea of owning a whole lot more perplexing than I had imagined.
