FCC--Fremont Contract Carriers

Gonna try sleeping with my bunk windows open and not idling the truck or messing with the APU. The low is supposed to be in the low 60's here and there's very light traffic on the interstate next to me.

 

Until I drive by and blow the air horn!!!

 

Is the scale still closed with the road construction in Clayton? I'm always tempted to just keep going and not turn down the truck route, but if I do it'll be when a cop is sitting there.

 

I've honestly never turned down the road for that scale. Have never seen a cop around either. Don't think it's ever open at night anyways.

 

Me either I just ease on thru town, but I don't recommend it. Lol

 

It ain't open at night, and there's been construction there the last few weeks so it's been closed. But I've seen cops before on the wide shoulder on 56, clearly marked truck route, so I've always went down that way just in case, maybe tonight I'll be a rebel

 

That Holiday Inn is nice. For lunch I just went somewhere in town to eat. Welcome aboard!

If you're picking up McKinley paper, call before you head out here, there production got screwed up, mines not gonna be ready till 14:00 local time. I have a number to the guard shack if you need a number to check. Guess I'll just take a 10 now. Oh, they won't let ya stay there to wait either

 

Bought a brand new bag of chips yesterday. I heard something pop as I was coming through the mountains in NM last night. Couldn't figure out what it was. Now I know!
