Agreed on the oil, I change the wife's when it gets to 25 percent, try to stay around 5-6000 drain intervals

I'm a valvaoline man myself, and if ya haven't bought a K&N oil filter you owe it to yourself! They have a nut on the bottom so you can use a 1"wrench to remove it... GENIUS!!

Oxbow, bzinger and M22 rockcrusher Thank this.

I usually use Quaker State oil in my cars, but I've used all sorts of different oils. Honestly, most oil today is pretty good regardless of brand. Usually change it every 5,000 miles or so

    bzinger Thanks this.

I usually only use the Lucas in vehicles that burn oil. It is a very good product though

    bzinger Thanks this.

I'd like to run mobil 1 delvac in the truck too but it's so pricey the math doesent work with drain cycles I'd have to run it to make it pay off....and i won't see any less shop time with grease work and apu oil changes .

    BigR Thanks this.

Bzinger, though you'd get a kick outta this. Found it at an auction a few months ago, only used once so far. I'll probably end up selling it and buying a new Dewalt 20230813_110822.jpg

So I came home Fri to 113°, figured the mowing can wait. Had a big thunderstorm that night into sat morning, so I figured I'll hit it Sunday. I go out to do a grease job on ol red this morning and as soon as I unhook and open the hood it starts raining, just enough to get everything wet. Hurts my soul to mow wet grass, but it's gettin done today

    dwells40 and bzinger Thank this.
