Yeah I'm surprised there wasn't a going away party for me when I left the cb terminal today lol.

Well hell, spent about 3 1/2 hours getting the bad trailer fixed. While I’m sitting there first my DM messages me to drop the North Platte load in CB (probably was inevitable but I’m blaming the trailer). Second, the Qualcomm, which has had recurring flakiness, decided it was time to turn the funk to 11. So spent way too much time on the phone with safety before getting to the obvious conclusion and running on paper. So now after I drop in CB, I have to bobtail to Fremont where Travis will be waiting with bells on to do something to it. With all the fun I only got 345 miles for the day and have 236 miles to go to CB (the Qualcomm works just enough to put the kibosh on any creative writing).
Once the power of Travis compels the ELD to function then I have to find an empty, get my sorry backside and said empty to KC, then drop and swap and get over to Clayton, then I can go home.
Supposed to be home Sunday but I have a very strong suspicion it’s going to be early Monday.
I’m going to try split breaking for the first time in 20 years of driving tomorrow in hopes of getting the truck to the shop as early as possible. So I’m probably going to have my logs posted at the next safety meeting for comic relief.
