FCC--Fremont Contract Carriers

Haven't had one blow out in year's.....guess I was due.

 

We also don't run recaps. So tires blowing out are a rarity here.

 

The one that blew out on me was an old Hankook drive tire.

 

Heat don't help

 

That shipper in Duncanville is super easy Chris, only about 10-12k load too!

 

Saw alot trucks today on the side of the road with flats.

 

Well, my daily fiasco continues..... dropped in Kentwood, MI. Small lot there, so they move our empties to another lot. So they assign me an empty, I go find it about 10 miles away in grand rapids. Then hurry to this shipper to live load down by Kalamazoo in Parchment, MI. Dispatch info was no existent on this place, just an address, didn't even know what I was getting till I got here, that's when I figured there might be a problem. It's one of those packaging graphics paper places. The previous reciever assigned me a 3900 series trailer. This place of course refused it because it's over 10 years old. So, now here I wait on Dispatch to figure something out.

 

Frustrating, I'd have never grabbed this trailer if I knew what the shipper was.

 

Well, now I get to turn around and drive an hour north, back to the same place I got this trailer from, to get a newer one, then come back here tomorrow to pick up this load. F in broker loads! No info whatsoever!

 

Recapps are notorious for giving up the ghost in hot weather, it's gator season!
