I'm running with my own trailer - but yes, he has those trailers and they are tricked out for the job. I think they're on another project in CA.

    That sign looks familiar. :)

I don't check out all the threads, so glad to hear you're going well with that journey, and condolences on the loss. We just had to put ours to sleep Wednesday, similar issues as you mentioned of yours, but ours are not outdoor cats once they come to us, and this one was over 20 years old, unheard of for most cats, but this short hair orange tabby ( a girl no less even rarer according to my wife) was a fighter.

I was hesistant, hoping she would be able to bounce back, but the wife noticed the earmarks of her declining quality of life, appetite and general behavior while I just figured she was feeling a little out of it and would pop out of it especially because of her age. Did blood work and though they couldn't rule out a simple infection, the red blood cell counts were so low that anemia was evident and that since she had no urine and was drinking a lot more, it was most likely kidneys...and once they have that, it's a fast spiral to the bottom. We had an appointment for her for Friday(today) but the wife was concerned enough that we went in to have the blood work done and decided not to try and see how it would go in case she made it to the weekend and then we'd be screwed by the overpriced emergency room racking up the bills just to do what we knew was the right thing to do at this time. I hated it, because she hadn't been eating for the wife, but I had gotten her to eat that day. :(

Anyway, good luck with that contract and be careful. :)

Well, come over to that thread and check in when you have the notion.

I'm very sorry - 20 years is a long friendship. And to have to make that decision.

Yes - an orange girl is a bit of a unicorn. Not much I can say that you don't already know and feel right now.

    :(

Good deal, I’m one of the fellas on the CA project. Just thought it was pretty cool catching one of us on here. Here is a little preview of the S Lake Tahoe (US-395) gig
