So 3000 miles like $1.25 all miles for flatbed.
Would be better off being an uber driver.

It's not going to be 3000 miles. Probably 1800 to 2200. It's more Midwest based.

Yes, they hate us more than an aware voter. If there is an industry getting bothered, it’s always ours. Just want to be left alone to do my job. Want reliable engines again and not mandatory elog. Yep, I sound like an old guy.

Not working hard $3500 gross is easy money in 3-4 days pulling dry van (independent O/O).
If I wanted to work harder I could still scratch up 5k a week.

I'm not pointing fingers here because I bicker too but people need to stop blaming the government for their problems. Stop watching the news and thinking any one politician or political party is going to make or break you. This mindset will ruin you. Remember, any news outlet is a company just like you are trying to get people's attention so they will stick with them. That is all they want.

Nothing's really changed in America. You are still free to start and run your own business as you see fit. Trucking is about as regulated as it's been since deregulation, which is to say pretty #### regulated, but if it's in your blood there's no better way to make a living and it's not that bad. Try another country if you don't believe me. If this wasn't the case why do so many immigrants get in to it?

I hope this post doesn't come across as political and get deleted. The government isn't the problem, people thinking that is the problem.

Folks who can't admit they screwed up, folks who can't admit they failed, who can't admit they're the problem, can't admit they're doing it lazily, and those who think they deserve without the effort.

They always gotta blame something when they fail.

This post isn't political, it is the truth. People hate the truth.
