What if it Snows?

So— anybody ever set off an alarm that services an entire office complex because they can’t remember a sequence of 4 numbers and doesn’t know the phone number to have the alarm company turn the screaming loud MF’er off so the city’s finest are called to investigate???? I am that guy first thing this morning— gonna be a wonderful day

What are the miles on the truck? It may need a full out of truck DPF/SCR cleaning.

A tad shy of recommended mileage. Still, could be starting to get loaded up.
Most of the manufacturers recommend cleaning the DPF every 150,000 miles, or once per year.
Thing is, if it going into a regen often and long periods, something is going on. A regeneration cycle is triggered by sensors measuring temps and pressures.

Couple of questions. Is the engine using any oil or coolant? Even slightly.

 

No. The turning off the truck today waiting 5 minutes and restarting the regen fixed the issue in about 5 minutes. Thinking it's a sensor issue.

 

Nope, but I've set off a smoke alarm a couple of times and met some of my neighbors.

 

Preplans come and preplans go, but at least I got another that stuck. If they all stick, it will be Utah to Cheyenne to Golden to Galveston (not really but close enough, can't remember the name of the place) to Houston (ditto) to Iowa. So I decided to take some time and eat leftovers.

 

I just got the word I WILL BE moving to Williamsburg Va by the end of this month. Keri and her husband will be here to get me moved. I'm sad about leaving here, but healthwise I will be better off there.
