I used to drive through Chicago so frequently in both a truck and regular car that I'm used to it, and know what highways to avoid at what times. But Chi-town is one of my favorite big cities. I remember going up to the observation deck on the 103rd floor of the Sears Tower when I was little and being awestruck. Fantastic pizza as well. Actually kinda miss not being in Chicago nearly as much

 

Go to the navy pier.. Been there.. quite interesting

 

I asked a few times to move to Midwest Regional and was always told no as well. I grew very tired of dealing with OK's poor highways and their 13 year long (so far) 8 year improvement plan on I-35.

 

I-35 in Oklahoma is actually pretty decent in most spots now. US-69/75 I avoid like the plague though. That's still more of a wagon trail than a highway.

 

Are they finally done with the construction south of OKC?

 

There's about a 5 mile stretch just south of Paul's Valley on the northbound side and a little bit of road work on the southbound lanes around the Turner Falls area, but that's it.
