At 3:05 AM on Wednesday night, I was woken out of a deep sleep because our air horn was going off repeatedly. I peeked out the sleeper curtain As our truck came to a stop. My wife was cursing out a white sedan that had stopped sideways in the middle of the interstate 50 yards in front of us. And then pulled forward and sped off down the highway. My wife said it had been harassing her for about five minutes prior to that and had been doing circles around the truck and jumping Into our lane.
She dialed 911 and gave them the vehicle description, thankfully, we never saw it again. The roads were fairly empty and my wife is not an aggressive driver, so I can only imagine it was a crackhead, someone with a death wish, Or just punks being ########.
our company pulled the camera footage and saved it. If I can get a copy of it, I’ll try to share it to this thread later in the week.
A crazy driver at 3 AM in Shreveport Louisiana.

Sometimes you can just exit off, and slow then get back on interstate, they’ll go on.

Guess they forgot to tell you in truck driving school, there will be times in this biz, you will see strange things, like what she saw at 3 AM !

Bad drivers? Sure. Someone racing ahead of you to park sideways in the middle of an interstate? No, they never mentioned that. -

I encountered something similar....while going around Atlanta on I-285 during a Thursday nite, just after 8:30 pm.
A very wild wreck occurred in front of me. I was not involved -- but I did go thru part of the debris field.
I missed being in it by less than 10 seconds.
I think one reason I avoided such was a deliberate decision to drive just a little bit slower than the rest of the traffic nearby (this creates a constant "safe space").
Stuff happens.
