Should I go with TMC or Werner?

I worked for them in the past and they’re not hardcore like that anymore..they have standards as it pertains to apperance and interior of the truck but nothing like military regimented

 

Werner. Starter flatbed outfits don’t pay enough for all that tarping. You’ll likely make as much, or close to it at Werner.

 

All the flatbed companies I know of, pay extra for tarp pay.
Melton Truck Line pays $100 tarp pay. Also has cdl school tuition reimbursement.
I've tarped many loads and didn't mind at all. Took pride in seeing how neat I could make it.

Pretty much all companies have tuition reimbursement. They offer it because they know the chances of actually having to pay it is slim to none because the driver will quit long before the company pays their bill off.

You’re one of the VERY few people I’ve heard say they enjoyed tarping. What the hell are ya, a sadist?! Lol

 

No, I just liked tarping; challenging at times, but I'm hard-headed and refused to let it whip me.

 

I’m the opposite. I let them “whip me”. Those tarps were mean and abusive to old Frank, and took time away from larger priorities, like chasing Kentuckians!

 

TMC, you will learn a lot of things from them that you will never have the opportunity to learn from Werner as Werner is a mega and you will just be another generic driver with them.
