FCC--Fremont Contract Carriers

If my truck was in the shop for multiple days, I’d be asking for another truck to keep me running. I’m not sure if lease operators have that option though

 

Yeah we do..IF they have trucks!... lately there hasn't been any extra trucks. I'll check today, but I doubt it

 

If they don't have one today they might have one tomorrow just depends on how far out another guy is from returning a loaner. I had to use 1454 in cb recently when my Pete broke down.

 

Someone please explain to me why my fleet truck near max gross weight with a castrated engine can routinely out pull long hood trucks hauling grain hoppers

 

Because the paccar engine has Cummins like pulling power until you reach 450k mileage when it's using oil like mine.

 

Many hopper bottoms are closer to 100k than 80k.

 

Is that even legal

 

Cause they be heavy 90k...105 k

 

If their permitted for it yes. A lot of those trucks can haul 105,500 that's why that extra axle. You see a lot of it in the PNW.
