Just walked in the house about 10 minutes ago. I’m taking this load clear out to southern Indiana for Tuesday morning. Haven’t been out that direction in a while. Not going to lie, I somewhat miss being OTR

 

I have to bobtail from MI to TX this week to retrieve an empty tanker. I do not miss heing OTR. This week is going to suck!!

 

Are you at least getting paid for that?

Yes. Hourly. Still not happy about it.

 

It sure is!!!! Google maps says 1,340 miles each way. I’m used to 1500-1600 miles per week

 

Got tired of waiting on the shop and needed to check outta the hotel, so I used Uber for the first time in my life... get down here, and after I interrupt their break, dude says "oh, we didn't notice the trans service on the work order, still gotta do that".. so now I'm back in their lounge waiting on slappy to change the dam tranny fluid so I can finally get outta here.... hopefully!!

 

I need to add trans diff service to the list of things I need done at Fremont while it's there not sure if it's been done or not because Penskes service history is kind of vague on the details the transmission feels tight so I don't know. Bobtail from Texas to Fremont wasn't that bad only really bouncy whenever you hit a bad pothole.
