If I’m talking about my roommates truck, I have to show it off. 1979 C10, I believe it’s a Scottsdale trim. Used to be his Grandfather’s truck. It’s a Big 10 model as well. It has its issues and he wants to put a different motor in it, but it does start and drive without major issues, it just gets in the single digits for fuel mileage. Overall it’s in decent condition for its age. Definitely don’t see many of these around anymore which is sad. IMG_2484.jpeg IMG_2482.jpeg

4295 paid miles, which is $1.27 per mile. Seeing how im on a mileage contract I run as many miles as my government mandated e log allows.

That’s when cars and trucks were actually real vehicles so to speak..nowadays cheap plastic electronically controlled vehicles that don’t last as long as they should

Settle down there! My '04 Duramax was 15 years old and had over 200k when I got rid of it, only thing wrong was transfer case went out. Shoulda kept it, but got blinded by all the bells and whistles on the new one lol.. the 2019 Duramax has 45k on it now, and I don't doubt it'd outlast me if I want it to ( that is if I quit hauling 25k of hay with a single rear wheel 3500) lol.... oh, and another thing, you buy a dam Ty-yoda I'm gonna put your ### up for adoption!!!:D

Nothing wrong with Isuzu and Duramax I drive a old Isuzu trooper with a Isuzu diesel engine. Basically a Chevy Colorado.

Didn't say there was. He was kidding @cdavis188 about Toyota so it was a playful jab about the Duramaxx heritage.

We serviced a whole fleet of Fry-Wagner / United Van Lines trucks and they had a ton of those tilt cab Isuzu's with 4cyl and 6cyl diesels. This was their location in Columbia, MO so they employed a bunch of college kids who drove them like they stole them and those things just kept running. They would tear lift gates off, run into anything and everything, bust the dashes, crush a/c condensers that were mounted horizontally underneath passenger side but I only remember replacing a couple turbos and one complete engine in 6+ years.
