K&B Transportation. The real deal!

I'm actually not pissed off with dispatch like many of you are. At the end, night dispatch told him that he needed to communicate with his dispatch better. He should have told him that this wasn't going to work and should have been communicating that on his Qualcomm. He got the load swapped out so I don't really see the problem.

I'll admit, K&B should have planned that better, but every driver knows his/her limits. Also, having an unstable sleep schedule is part of trucking, particularly reefer life. Livonia, MI to Oak Creek, WI is a doable run for me even if I've been up.....but that's me. One cup of coffee and it would have been "go time" for me. Lol If I can't make a load on time, I will not hesitate to tell dispatch that. Drivers need to understand that dispatch is not going to be concerned about anything other than the load. As soon as he got those dumb ### instructions, he should have said, "That doesn't work for me brother." Then they would have had to start over and plan that better. Drivers let dispatch believe they can get a load there on time, then turn around and reneg because they get tired. Nah, you gotta communicate everything to them, even delays.

 

K&B has long had a reputation for being bottom of the barrel carrier…probably 100’s if not more drivers have raised the same issue with that company…with that many folks saying something about the company plus the video of them displaying their behavior confirms they’re garbage and I can’t believe some folks here will defend them..you’re right..your company is light years ahead of this garbage dump in Sioux City…

 

Why does he need to? A person's paycheck is none of our business. Better question, if you're skeptical, why don't you give em a call and ask if all of these things are true?

 

Another thing is this: I was talking to another driver and K&B was brought up. One of the first words was micromanagement. You know, when a company disables cruise control when you have headlights on for “safety”, or when another driver or even the police are sent to your truck because you didn’t start your day when they wanted you to. K&B’s issues are widely known…only suckers work for them

What makes y'all think there aren't drivers that actually like being there and don't mind that model? They've been in business forever, and I've heard drivers say good things about them. Every company has complainers and ambassadors. I'm not sure why everyone thinks he's a recruiter. He's done what anyone else does in the Discuss Your Favorite Company Forum and thats talk about his company and ehat he likes. He even expressed his dislikes, and that seemongly got glossed over. The dislikes sound like ones a driver would say. A recruiter posing as a driver would be putting over KB stronger than he has. We've asked questions, he's answered them. Not one time have I felt that he's trying to sway someone over. I can't understand why it's inconceivable that someone could actually like working there. They've been around a while, so their doing something right. Just because it don't work for some of you, I can't understand y'all ####ting on his happiness.

 

Go work for K&B for 6 months, then report back, if you even make it that far

I will respond by saying I talked to K&B and recruiting one time. And I spoke to Sean specifically about that video of that driver being pushed to run and threatened with pay and all that. And Sean had some of the same responses as this guy had on here a while ago about it. Kind of makes me think this is the same guy he's a recruiter.
